Mum
came to England around 1945 when she was 18 years old and
settled in Knaphill, Surrey.
She
married (Shoosmith) and they had three children, Jennifer,
Kate and Dennis.
Her
second marriage was to my father and they wed in 1966, a year
after I was born.
Mum
was a housewife and extremely house-proud. She lived
with my father at 68 Pares Close, Horsell, Woking, Surrey.
They separated around 1979 and divorced shortly afterwards.
She
met (Arthur Ernest) Ernie
Freshwater and they eventually married in 1982 and lived in
Ripley, Surrey. Ernie had four grown up children. They
were together until mum died in 1987.
